As a Senior Financial Analyst, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial stability of the organization. You will provide essential analyses and insights that facilitate informed decision-making processes. At GXO, you will have the tools and support to excel in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models in Excel to assist with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Generate monthly reporting packages that compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying key variance drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent communication.
  • Identify, measure, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other financial and operational metrics.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in reporting and processes to enhance content quality and streamline production.
  • Resolve reporting discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
  • Create reports that are clear, well-structured, professional in appearance, and easily modifiable.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years in audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • 4 years of relevant experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience in building or modifying dashboards using PowerBI or similar BI tools.
  • The ability to quickly adapt and gain proficiency in new software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present organized and thorough information tailored to the audience.
  • Adeptness in developing insightful, actionable analyses with clear explanations of results; capable of producing comprehensive and accurate interpretations.
  • A self-motivated work ethic, able to function effectively with minimal supervision or within a team setting.
