As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial vitality of the organization by delivering essential analyses and insights that inform strategic decision-making. Your Daily Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and refine financial models in Excel to assist with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Generate monthly reporting packages that compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying key variance drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Identify, measure, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics.
  • Pursue continuous improvement opportunities in reporting and processes to enhance content and streamline production and distribution.
  • Resolve reporting issues and data discrepancies.
  • Create reports that are concise, well-structured, professional in appearance, and easy to modify and distribute.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • 4 years of relevant experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience in building or modifying dashboards using PowerBI or other business intelligence tools.
  • The ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized, and thorough information tailored to the intended audience.
  • A strong capacity to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding the results' drivers; capable of producing clear, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations.
  • A self-motivated work style, able to work effectively with minimal supervision or in a collaborative environment.
