Overview:

Engenuity Outdoor Equipment is a prominent manufacturer specializing in outdoor power tools, trailers, and automotive accessories. Our diverse product line includes woodchippers, utility trailers, stump grinders, snowplows, snowblowers, PTO backhoes, and winches, catering to residential, prosumer, and light professional markets. We maintain strong partnerships with key hardlines retailers across the US and Canada, and our products are also available through regional and local retailers, independents, value-added distributors, and direct-to-consumer via our online marketplace.

In recent developments, the company has secured private equity investment and integrated three other businesses into a unified platform. Following a successful acquisition, this consolidation positions us for substantial commercial growth in the outdoor power equipment and trailer sectors. To foster long-term value creation and expansion, Engenuity is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst focused on sales analytics and commercial pricing, you will be integral in supporting the company’s strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), your responsibilities will include analyzing sales data, formulating pricing strategies, and delivering actionable insights to enhance revenue generation and profitability. This position demands robust analytical capabilities, financial expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and product development teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and growth opportunities.
  • Create and maintain detailed sales performance dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and variance analysis to support budgeting and planning activities.
  • Provide ongoing insights into sales performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, revenue, mix, and margin analysis.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to devise pricing strategies that align with business goals and market conditions.
  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to evaluate pricing trends and positioning.
  • Assess the profitability of current pricing structures and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Develop and implement pricing models and tools to optimize pricing decisions and maximize revenue.
  • Create financial models to support pricing decisions, revenue forecasts, and scenario analyses.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial implications of new product launches, promotions, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in corporate FP&A is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • A strong desire to learn and a willingness to take on executive-level responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask and make critical decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Strong work ethic along with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while meeting conflicting deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
