Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and refine financial models in Excel to assist with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Compile monthly reporting packages that compare actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying key variance drivers.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • 4 years of relevant experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience in building or modifying dashboards using PowerBI or other business intelligence tools.
  • The ability to quickly learn and master new software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present organized and thorough information tailored to the audience.
  • A strong capability to develop insightful, value-added analyses with clear explanations regarding performance drivers; able to produce comprehensive and accurate interpretations.
  • A self-motivated work style, capable of functioning well with minimal supervision or within a team environment.
