Position Overview

The Solar Sales Representative is responsible for generating their own sales leads and conducting in-home presentations about our solar solutions to prospective clients. Your primary goal will be to establish a genuine connection with potential customers, assessing their needs and determining if solar energy is a suitable option for their households.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective self-generated sales strategies to secure leads and appointments.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer sales experience from the initial interaction through to installation and beyond.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations, evaluating customer knowledge and needs while fostering long-lasting relationships.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to installation, ensuring follow-up on all leads and consultations.
  • Accurately document and report outcomes using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Achieve minimum sales targets as established by the sales leadership team.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and/or lead generation, with a preference for in-home sales experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
  • Willingness to travel within the local market based on business needs.
  • Intermediate proficiency with technology, including the use of an iPad/computer and various software applications (experience with CRM systems is a plus).
