Client Relationship Consultant II

Position Overview: The Client Relationship Consultant II - Licensed is dedicated to delivering exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and providing comprehensive product information tailored to meet their financial objectives. This role emphasizes client management, retention, and facilitating connections with key banking specialists (such as Mortgage and Business Banking) to ensure clients receive expert guidance in achieving their financial aspirations.
- Sales Performance: Collaborate with the team to meet growth objectives in financial metrics (including deposits, loans, and non-interest income) while actively identifying and connecting clients with the appropriate team members to drive successful sales initiatives.
- Client Experience: Ensure a positive client journey by assisting with account-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly through effective communication and research. Engage clients through educational initiatives and meet activity goals as established by Retail Leadership.
- Risk Management: Conduct all sales, service, and banking transactions with precision and compliance, striving for zero controllable losses.
- Undertake moderately complex special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
- Adhere consistently to regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the role, completing necessary training to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Exhibit a proven ability to achieve sales and referral targets through scheduled appointments and quality interactions that lead to recommendations aligned with clients' financial goals.
- Engage in insightful conversations to provide tailored financial advice, referring clients to Financial Consultants as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) or foreign equivalent.
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Licensing: Must obtain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration as per the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
- Ability to mentor and train others on products and platform procedures.
- Life and Health Insurance Licenses (to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment).
- FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) (to be obtained within 90 days of passing the Life and Health Insurance exam).
- FINRA License Series 6 (to be obtained within 90 days of passing the SIE exam).
- FINRA License Series 63 or Series 66 (to be obtained within 90 days of passing the Series 6 exam).
- Preferred: Experience in the financial services industry and familiarity with digital products and self-service technologies.
