Licensed Banking Consultant

The Licensed Banking Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding client service by addressing inquiries and providing comprehensive product insights tailored to meet clients' financial requirements. This position emphasizes client management, retention strategies, and facilitating referrals to essential banking divisions such as Mortgage and Business Banking. The role entails engaging in more sophisticated lending and investment discussions, as well as participating in intricate banking dialogues with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Objectives: Collaborate with the team to reach growth targets in financial performance and client acquisition. Promote client introductions to team members to effectively drive sales initiatives.
  • Client Engagement: Support clients with account-related inquiries, issues, and complaints to ensure a positive experience. Achieve activity benchmarks established by Retail Leadership, including appointment scheduling, follow-through, and needs assessment.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Execute all transactions with precision and adherence to regulations to mitigate risks.
  • Manage complex projects and additional duties as required. Comply with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Attain sales and referral targets through meaningful conversations and recommendations that align with clients' financial goals. Offer personalized financial guidance through both phone and in-person consultations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 4-5 years in customer service and sales, ideally within the financial services sector
  • Licenses: National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), Life and Health Insurance, FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 or 66
  • Capability to train and mentor peers in products and procedures
  • Preferred background in financial services and digital offerings
