About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Quality Equipment, a leading John Deere dealer with 36 locations serving agricultural, commercial, and residential customers in the southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Company for the sale of machinery to customers within a local geographic sales area.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment sold by Quality Equipment, including riding lawn mowers, commercial mowing equipment, utility vehicles, tractors, and agricultural implements.
  • Prospect for new customers in the local area, targeting different customer segments such as commercial mowing, governmental, and agricultural.
  • Maintain Company assets and equipment in good condition, including vehicles, phones, and computers.
  • Accurately complete all documents related to sales transactions, including goods tickets, purchase orders, and customer down payments.
  • Evaluate used equipment values and negotiate trades.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the item and service provided.
  • Work closely with the store sales team and supervisor to manage the work schedule and maintain full store coverage.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business, needs, challenges, and goals, and work to develop solutions through unique combinations of Quality Equipment products and support.
  • Document key account activity in the CRM program.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of agricultural equipment and sales principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Agricultural background preferred.
