Job SummaryWe are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in our Knightdale store. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of local conditions and sale/resale values of machinery.
The Sales Representative will represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers within a local geographic sales area. They will be responsible for keeping current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment sold by Quality Equipment, LLC.
The Sales Representative will also be responsible for:
- Prospecting for new customers in the local geographic area
- Maintaining company vehicle and other equipment
- Conducting product demonstrations at customer job sites or farms
- Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions
- Developing a deep understanding of each customer's business, needs, challenges, and goals
- Working closely with the store sales team and supervisor to manage the work schedule and maintain full store coverage
The ideal candidate will have:
- A good understanding of local conditions and sale/resale values of machinery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
- A positive attitude
- Agricultural background preferred
