About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Click and Connect Online Limited. Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Strategy Development

Collaborate with our Group Head of Business Development to develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy across all product lines, focusing on continuous new business and revenue growth.

Relationship Building and Maintenance

Establish and maintain a strong network of professional financial and investment advisers within the intermediated channel community, ensuring effective communication and partnership development.

Sales Pipeline Management

Develop and maintain a proactive sales pipeline/funnel to support future revenue growth, identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential market opportunities by size, business opportunity, and return on investment.

Business Growth and Target Achievement

Achieve growth and hit agreed sales targets by successfully managing the end-to-end sales process, presenting sales revenue and expenses reports, and providing realistic forecasts to the Group Head of Business Development.

Reporting and Compliance

Complete weekly and monthly reports outlining activity, priorities, plans, and business progress against agreed sales and revenue targets, ensuring all new written business adheres to our compliance processes and procedures.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Develop collaborative working relationships within the organization, maintaining proactive relations with subsidiary Managing Directors and key stakeholders, and liaising with the Marketing function to ensure relevant product literature and collateral is up-to-date and supportive of the sales process.

Requirements
  • Experience and Expertise

Demonstrated technical experience in the life pensions and/or retirement arena(s), strong network of intermediary contacts, proven track record of delivering new business growth, and experience translating the principles of Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly into a business development role.

Personal Skills and Competencies

Excellent influencing, decision-making, and negotiation skills, good understanding of the life pension and broader retirement markets, excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, and demonstrable experience of following a structured sales process(es).
