Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager - RSD to join our team. This role will be responsible for new account acquisition, focusing on Small, Mid-sized, and Large accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful business development and commercial success in a B2B environment. They will be responsible for executing business development strategies and closing new customer deals.

The Business Development Manager - RSD will work closely with cross-functional teams to create business development strategies and support the commercialization and onboarding process. They will also be responsible for managing strategic customer relationships and effectively negotiating business deals.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the rigid packaging space, including products manufactured via EBM, IBM, ISBM, and injection molding. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic approach to create engagement and win new business
  • Develop business plans, including financial analysis, competitive analysis, and value proposition
  • Deliver revenue growth and generate profit from direct penetration of new accounts
  • Prospect for new customers and drive new business opportunities aligned with Amcor Flexibles, LLC portfolio
  • Translate research conclusions into actionable business concepts and plans for broader review and discussion
  • Understand market trends, drivers, and dynamics - work to promote new products and gain exposure within target markets
  • Serve as a subject matter expert assisting the Marketing Team for market sizing, market trends, and dynamics, and competitive analysis
  • Build a strong external network consisting of key influencers and collaborators within the industry
  • Manage strategic customer relationships and effectively negotiate business deals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Science
  • 5-8 years' experience in developing industry value assessment and executing on strategic business development and growth opportunities
  • Proven track record of successful business development and commercial success in a B2B environment
  • Good working knowledge of the rigid packaging space, including products manufactured via EBM, IBM, ISBM, and injection molding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
