We are seeking a National Accounts Credit Manager to enhance our expanding Finance Team.

As a National Accounts Credit Manager, your role will encompass managing daily account relationships within our dynamic, non-secured distribution framework.

You will utilize reports and analytics to assess customer credit risk and exposure, ensuring prompt account reconciliations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with national accounts while overseeing credit exposure and risk.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to ensure accurate account reconciliations.
  • Work alongside the National Accounts Manager and Sales to bolster sales initiatives.
  • Guarantee compliance with risk management and fraud prevention protocols.
  • Provide comprehensive statistics, data analysis, and reporting for accounts receivable.
  • Oversee AR reporting and manage the Escheatment Process.
  • Monitor collection and bankruptcy accounts.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in reporting processes.
  • Review overdue activities on non-term accounts.
  • Coordinate payment reconciliation practices and ensure adherence to credit card, COD, and CIA policies.
  • Manage the rebate accrual and reconciliation process, developing tracking and reporting tools for the Sales team while assisting in the approval of new rebate programs and the renewal of existing ones.
  • Provide backup support for order hold releases and optimize DSO initiatives.
  • Train and mentor credit and collection team members.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in credit management within a distribution context.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, management, or finance, or a combination of significant related experience and education deemed equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of account analysis, reconciliation, negotiation, and reporting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to learn internal databases and software systems.
  • A blend of high energy, empathy, and emotional intelligence to motivate and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-organization and a high degree of organizational skills are essential for managing multiple products and market segments across a broad geographical area.
  • Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial statement analysis, along with familiarity with SAP credit and collections functionality, is advantageous.
