Central Life Sciences (CLS), a division of Central Garden & Pet, focuses on enhancing the health, welfare, and protection of companion animals, agricultural animals, plants, stored grains, and the environment. We are currently in search of a Client Relations Specialist to collaborate with our sales team in providing exceptional service to assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate successful order fulfillment from receipt to delivery, ensuring a seamless process for clients.
- Act as the primary representative for assigned accounts within the organization.
- Manage return authorizations in coordination with clients.
- Oversee and implement Sales/Marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and distribution policies.
- Monitor inventory levels against client demand and communicate any issues regarding shipments, pricing, or product availability.
- Investigate and resolve client claims and complaints, maintaining thorough documentation.
- Handle and resolve client deductions, ensuring proper documentation for financial records.
- Create and maintain client profiles and address book records.
- Support sales efforts through effective account management, client visits, and accounts receivable tasks.
- Provide sales support including client correspondence, open order tracking, inventory updates, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate monthly performance assessments for key accounts.
- Contribute to the development of process improvements tailored to clients and departmental needs.
- Utilize troubleshooting and time management skills to consistently exceed client expectations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A minimum of three years of experience in complex client service roles is required.
- Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems is preferred, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Exceptional decision-making and prioritization abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and adaptability.
- Strong client-focused mindset and a collaborative team spirit.
- Experience with quality management programs is advantageous.
- A background in manufacturing is preferred.
