We are in search of a skilled and personable Operations Supervisor who can maintain composure under pressure and effectively guide their team with clear and concise instructions. This role is essential in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service and that our staff is well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all restaurant policies, procedures, and standards in a timely manner.
  • Foster a welcoming environment where guests receive friendly and attentive service.
  • Guarantee that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to our established recipes and standards.
  • Manage cash handling and reconciliation processes in line with company policies.
  • Achieve operational goals related to sales, service quality, and overall cleanliness through effective staff training and leadership.
  • Compile and balance daily cash receipts accurately.
  • Oversee various financial tasks, including cash handling and payroll management.
  • Participate in maintaining cleanliness in both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Estimate and order necessary ingredients and supplies for menu preparation.
  • Address and resolve any guest complaints regarding food quality or service.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of products and compliance with receiving procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, reporting any shortages.
  • Procure necessary supplies and equipment to maintain service quality.
  • Prepare all required documentation, including reports and schedules, in an organized manner.
  • Evaluate staff performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Forecast staffing and supply needs based on menu requirements.
  • Inspect work areas to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Schedule staff according to anticipated business needs while managing labor costs.
  • Assign roles and responsibilities to employees based on operational requirements.
  • Identify and address operational challenges, such as theft and waste.
  • Stay informed about restaurant policies related to personnel management.
  • Conduct personnel actions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Encourage continuous development of staff in managerial and professional skills.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance service quality and job safety.
  • Occasionally assist with food preparation and service as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in cash register operations and financial management.
  • Experience with inventory management and procurement software.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and communication tools.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
