Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team at EO Johnson Business Technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for exceeding sales targets, a talent for effectively communicating with clients, and a strong desire to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sales strategy to grow the account base in the assigned territory
  • Engage prospects through cold calling, in-person meetings, and business networking
  • Learns and implements creative sales strategies to build and foster meaningful customer relationships
  • Prepares customer proposals and presentations by utilizing various vendor pricing models
  • Responsible for coordinating delivery and installation of equipment
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge on key product lines and stays up-to-date on industry trends
  • Conducts initial and follow-up operator training
  • Promotes a cohesive team environment to maximize productivity
  • Participates in trade shows, exhibits, and product demonstrations to promote EO Johnson's image and products
  • Utilizes CRM to plan meetings, appointments, and update customer contact information
Requirements
  • 2 years of business-to-business consultative sales experience selling business technology products and services
  • College degree in business, sales, marketing, or 4 years equivalent work experience
  • Proven record of sales success
  • Formal sales training
  • Intermediate skill level in understanding business technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and standard software related to sales and marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Self-starter, cooperative attitude, and team player
  • Working knowledge of vendor products and technologies supported by EO Johnson
  • Desire to learn about the industry sector being sold to
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and high energy level
  • Self-starter with motivation to constantly improve and meet short and long-term goals
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Desire for continuous learning
  • Ability to grow and adapt to change
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
