About the Role:

The Ticket Sales Representative will be a key member of the AEG team, responsible for building relationships with clients, marketing the Woodchucks experience, and driving revenue growth through group ticket sales and hospitality packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing: Sell group tickets and hospitality packages, as well as full and partial season plans, single game tickets, and other ticket packages.
  • Client Relationships: Work with clients to help them market their Woodchucks outings to their guests, connect with local organizations to share the Woodchucks experience, and build relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Account Management: Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients to build relationships, provide excellent customer service, and meet sales targets.
  • Business Development: Proactively create opportunities for new business through upselling, referrals, and past customer outreach.
  • Box Office and Ticket Operations: Assist with the management of the box office and ticket operations, including network and relationship building in the Wausau community.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or sports management.
  • Skills: Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Coaching and Motivation: Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day, with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.
  • Availability: Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
