- Participate in the review and oversight of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Respond promptly to customer needs and issues, providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities to provide informed solutions to customers.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay current on company initiatives and best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer profiles, including bid files, customer call sheets, and pricing information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of prior food service and/or sales experience strongly preferred.
Professional Skills:
- Deep expertise in the meat and seafood category or restaurant/culinary background with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge.
- Consultative sales ability with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and accountable for time management, with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook.

Organizational Reporting:
- Reports to Sales VP, Director, or Manager.
