  • Participate in the review and oversight of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and issues, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities to provide informed solutions to customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay current on company initiatives and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate customer profiles, including bid files, customer call sheets, and pricing information.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of prior food service and/or sales experience strongly preferred.

Professional Skills:

  • Deep expertise in the meat and seafood category or restaurant/culinary background with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge.
  • Consultative sales ability with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and accountable for time management, with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook.

Decision-Making Authority:

  • Approach to building relationships with customers/stakeholders.
