QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Retail Management or Supervisory roles.
- Proficient in operating POS systems and managing employee schedules.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance required.
- Successful completion of a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
- Strong communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
- Take charge of store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Provide coaching and training to store employees.
- Ensure customer and donor satisfaction by maintaining positive relations and resolving complaints efficiently.
- Facilitate daily team meetings in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Supervise staff to ensure adherence to operational guidelines.
- Train new employees on store policies and procedures.
- Communicate personnel issues to the District Sales Manager when necessary.
- Complete assigned tasks from Store Manager and District Sales Manager.
- Ensure compliance with time and attendance standards.
- Maintain store standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Oversee backroom processing and ensure efficiency in material handling.
- Safeguard cash and ensure proper banking procedures are followed.
- Participate in monthly store meetings and assist in safety compliance.
- Protect store property and assets.
- May be required to transfer between locations as directed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist as needed.
- Capability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a telephone and perform repetitive tasks.
