QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Retail Management or Supervisory roles.
  • Proficient in operating POS systems and managing employee schedules.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance required.
  • Successful completion of a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
  • Strong communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
  • Take charge of store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Provide coaching and training to store employees.
  • Ensure customer and donor satisfaction by maintaining positive relations and resolving complaints efficiently.
  • Facilitate daily team meetings in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Supervise staff to ensure adherence to operational guidelines.
  • Train new employees on store policies and procedures.
  • Communicate personnel issues to the District Sales Manager when necessary.
  • Complete assigned tasks from Store Manager and District Sales Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with time and attendance standards.
  • Maintain store standards for cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee backroom processing and ensure efficiency in material handling.
  • Safeguard cash and ensure proper banking procedures are followed.
  • Participate in monthly store meetings and assist in safety compliance.
  • Protect store property and assets.
  • May be required to transfer between locations as directed.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist as needed.
  • Capability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a telephone and perform repetitive tasks.
