Job Summary

Twin City Fan Companies is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in our value stream, managing and delivering Gemba, and partnering with support departments to update and create standard work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in our value stream.
  • Manage and Deliver Gemba: Lead daily Gemba walks to identify and address opportunities for improvement, and ensure that all team members are following standard work procedures.
  • Partner with Support Departments: Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance departments to resolve problems and ensure that all equipment and processes are running smoothly.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Lead and Direct the Work of Others: Supervise and direct the work of team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage Scheduling and Production: Oversee the scheduling and production of all products, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and Report Metrics: Track and report key metrics, such as production rates, quality levels, and employee performance.
  • Ensure a Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met and expectations are clear.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and your team.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience leading or supervising others in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proven ability to lead and direct the work of others, delegate tasks effectively, and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification, bridge crane training, and fall protection training required.
Working Conditions

The Production Supervisor will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and loud noise. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
