Position Overview

SAIC, a prominent provider of systems development and deployment, intelligence analysis, systems engineering, and training solutions for the Intelligence Community, is on the lookout for innovative and committed professionals to achieve their career aspirations while ensuring mission success on programs of national significance.

We are in search of a strategic, organized, and proactive Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader with specialized knowledge in technical domains, particularly in Cloud computing, Enterprise Architecture, and related platforms and tools. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance to the Government Program Manager (PM) on technical inquiries and challenges that may arise from the various systems under their oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering technical expertise in the creation, updating, maintenance, and visualization of software architecture, including data structures.
  • Producing technical documentation to support the architecture of the project portfolio, including Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Acting as a technical liaison regarding system architecture with a focus on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to assess mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, evaluate applications, develop transition plans, and create business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives.
  • Providing in-depth technical knowledge and analysis of specialized applications and operational environments, conducting high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and offering implementation advice on complex issues requiring extensive subject matter expertise.
  • Assisting the customer with technical oversight of Service Provider(s) across the project portfolio.
  • Offering technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.
  • Engaging with the Government on systems engineering IT technical considerations and addressing associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; or PhD/JD with nine (9) years of experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience within an Intelligence Community Agency, preferably with ODNI.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks.
  • Comprehensive experience and understanding to provide sound technical advice to the Government PM across various topics.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and make decisions in meetings with other technical personnel on behalf of the customer.
  • Capacity to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
