Role Summary:

The Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust application and systems architecture. This role encompasses the development of automated testing and assurance frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and execute application and systems frameworks, ensuring integration of automated testing methodologies.
  • Administer and optimize cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, alongside on-premises infrastructures.
  • Oversee the setup and configuration of application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic, as well as database systems like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Establish and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development processes.
  • Guarantee the security, efficiency, and dependability of IT systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance application delivery and performance.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry advancements to ensure best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in application and systems architecture, including Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture, and Progressive Web Architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with their core services.
  • Proficient in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
  • Expertise in database management, particularly with Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure and security protocols.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium and JUnit.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
