As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with Project Managers and fellow Consultants on ecological initiatives while engaging in a diverse range of environmental assessments, compliance, health and safety measures, sustainability projects, and due diligence activities within our extensive Environment and Health sector. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to partner with a skilled consulting team on complex environmental challenges for various sectors, including industrial, financial, and commercial clients. Your contributions will be vital in delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that establish new benchmarks and positively impact our clients, the environment, and society.

What We Expect:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, coupled with 4-8 years of experience in planning and designing Stormwater Management projects, including project analysis and evaluation.
  • Professional Engineer certification or equivalent credentials are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical demands of this role may involve climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Candidates may encounter varying weather conditions, high noise levels, and potential hazards related to machinery, electrical currents, and chemicals. Specific training and PPE may be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong work ethic and a professional demeanor.
  • Proactive approach to assignments with a demonstrated initiative.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics is advantageous.
  • Experience in stormwater management, pollution prevention planning, civil design, project planning, calculations, and report writing is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • OSHA 40 certification is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to follow detailed instructions and acquire new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the design and permitting processes for various industrial stormwater and water resource projects.
  • Overseeing the construction phases of projects.
  • Supporting stormwater management initiatives.
  • Conducting sampling and inspection activities (stormwater, wastewater) across diverse site environments.
  • Performing engineering calculations.
  • Assisting senior personnel in preparing technical reports, including data compilation.
  • Engaging in travel and fieldwork (daytime and overnight, primarily within the U.S.).
  • Collaborating with a team of water resources engineers and environmental scientists.
