Hybrid Scientist/Geologist

The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Scientist/Geologist to join our team as an Environmental Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert consulting services to our clients in the field of environmental science and geology.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training to clients and staff
- Conduct field consulting services for retail petroleum, bulk petroleum storage, chlorinated sites, industrial sites, landfills, superfund sites, and brownfields
- Collect and analyze groundwater samples using bailer/low flow/passive diffusion bag methods
- Conduct soil sampling (drilling/subcontractor oversight) and remedial soil excavation oversight
- Provide oversight for UST removal and Phase I ASTM assessments - field and reporting
- Develop and implement environmental remediation plans in accordance with state regulations, including the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) 310 CMR
- Stay up-to-date with state regulations in CT, RI, VT, ME, and NH
- 5+ years of direct experience in field consulting for environmental science and geology
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
