Key Responsibilities- Oversee facilities planning and operations activities for the company, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement facilities policies and practices, aligning with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Direct space allocations, moves, and facilities construction, modification, and maintenance, working closely with intermediate managers and vendors.
- Hire, train, and motivate facilities staff and contractors, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Review and approve facilities-related contracts and vendor qualifications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor facilities-related budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
- Support all divisional initiatives, as identified by divisional management, and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment, adhering to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior supervisory experience, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Previous facilities management experience, with a deep understanding of facilities planning and operations.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and matrixed environment.
- Experience selecting and managing vendors and contracts, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment, with strong leadership skills and the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner, with strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
