Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on government, foundation, and institutional funding opportunities that align with our mission and programs.
  • Providing comprehensive grants management support throughout all phases of the grants lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify grant requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Possessing knowledge of federal funding regulations and private funding sources.
  • Creating and maintaining a detailed grants calendar.
  • Managing the grant submission process, coordinating and leading proposal development efforts.
  • Reviewing grant agreements in collaboration with relevant staff.
  • Monitoring and tracking all grant activities, timelines, and deliverables associated with grants and subcontracts.
  • Acting as the primary contact for inquiries and communications related to grants and contracts.
  • Developing budgets for grant projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with grant agreements, federal guidelines, and organizational budgets through proper expense allocation.
  • Preparing financial reports, analyses, and projections related to grant activities.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all grant and contract agreements, proposals, reports, and essential communications.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with specialized knowledge in grants and contracts management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in managing grants and contracts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex application and reporting processes with a keen attention to detail.
