Job Summary

The Customer Development Manager position at Ryder plays a crucial role in the management of assigned accounts, driving sales growth, and developing customer interest in additional services. This dynamic role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Educate customers about Ryder's services and capabilities, highlighting the benefits of collaboration and partnership.
  • Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, making recommendations to drive business expansion.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of contracted services, resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of consecutive sales and customer relationship management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

Ryder offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $55,000, as well as an annual bonus, commission, and long-term incentive plan based on performance. We also provide comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance options.
