Compensation: Actual pay may vary based on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also qualify for incentive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and develop advanced generative AI models utilizing techniques such as GANs, VAEs, diffusion models, and transformer architectures.
  • Work with a variety of data formats, including video, audio, and text, to enhance generative AI models for applications like text-to-video synthesis and machine translation.
  • Design and execute experiments to train and validate generative AI models, ensuring optimal quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to implement scalable, real-time generative AI systems in cloud environments, focusing on efficiency and performance.
  • Establish and manage effective data preprocessing workflows for generative AI tasks, actively seeking to integrate new data sources.
  • Consult with management on innovative generative AI initiatives, proposing new products that enhance human communication.
  • Stay informed on the latest research, technologies, and trends in generative AI to guide the development of pioneering solutions.

Supervisory Role

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will provide coaching and mentorship to other team members.

Travel Requirements

Travel is expected to be less than 25%.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is required.

Preferred: A Graduate Degree, with a PhD being highly desirable. Publications in leading conferences such as CVPR, ACL, ICASSP, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR are advantageous.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in an AI-related field (e.g., deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, automatic speech recognition).
  • Publications in prominent conferences such as CVPR, ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR are a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI methodologies, with proficiency in GANs, latent diffusion models, VAEs, and transformer architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges with innovative solutions, showcasing the capacity to develop novel algorithms and adapt existing methods.
  • Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, along with libraries like Hugging Face Transformers and OpenAI API.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++, with experience in data preprocessing and analysis tools like NumPy and pandas.
  • Familiarity with video, audio, and text processing techniques, as well as natural language processing concepts.
  • Experience with model optimization strategies for efficient inference in practical applications, including model compression and quantization.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services like AWS for training and deploying generative AI models at scale.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and creativity in developing innovative generative AI solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse group of AI professionals.
