Department Overview
The Design and Tools (DandT) team plays a pivotal role within Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), delivering exceptional service design and pioneering technological solutions that empower our operations to surpass customer expectations.

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to spearhead the Artificial Intelligence and Analytics initiatives within DandT. In this influential role, you will act as a subject matter expert in AI and machine learning, developing analytical and statistical models that inform strategic business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include translating user needs into innovative AI solutions that enhance both internal and external user experiences. Many of these solutions will be integrated within our core technologies, including Salesforce and ServiceNow.

Additionally, you will be tasked with creating custom predictive and prescriptive machine learning models for proactive system health assessments, log analytics, and automated root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage AI project processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product managers to define requirements and prioritize features for AI projects.
  • Employ various statistical techniques for data analysis, exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Apply machine learning concepts, including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, sentiment analysis, and graph theory to real-world business challenges.
  • Guide the development of models utilizing supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms for tasks such as classification, regression, and clustering.
  • Train machine learning models to effectively convey complex data insights through clear visual representations.
  • Instill an understanding of ethical considerations in data science, focusing on bias detection, fairness, and responsible data management.
  • Develop application-specific interfaces that leverage generative AI capabilities to enhance user experiences.
  • Design APIs for optimal performance, scalability, and governance automation.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the data science industry, applying deep expertise to create innovative customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Technical Experience:
Extensive proficiency in Python and related technologies is essential.
