Job Overview

The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the execution of ABA therapy programs in various environments, including home, community, and educational settings. This position involves supervising Behavior Technicians and providing training for parents and caregivers. The Program Coordinator will work under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA).

Position Details

This is a full-time, hourly position that requires in-person engagement. Responsibilities include:

  • Completing the necessary training program for Program Coordinators, including passing required examinations and competency evaluations.
  • Managing a caseload of 10-15 clients, ensuring that therapy programs are implemented effectively, progress is monitored, and families are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Coordinating with families and staff to optimize scheduling and ensure appropriate supervision and training for parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborating closely with Clinical Supervisors to update treatment plans as necessary and ensure accurate data collection related to client goals.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Completing daily clinical documentation accurately and punctually.
  • Upholding HIPAA confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proficient use of a company-issued iPad and laptop for internal communication, data management, clinical documentation, scheduling, and other required applications.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including homes, community settings, schools, and telehealth.
  • Capability to engage with clients at their level, including working on the floor or in children's seating.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviors and ensuring the safety of both clients and providers.
  • Successful completion of TB testing, immunizations, and background checks.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Experience and Skills

  • A Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field, or a valid certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism or related disorders.
  • A proactive approach to case management and support for the clinical team.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
