Clinical Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of healthcare services to ensure high-quality patient care. This role includes administrative authority and accountability for the execution of assigned responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a community clinic, public health setting, or hospital environment, along with three (3) years of prior management experience.

Transportation Requirement: Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with the necessary insurance as mandated by state regulations.
Licenses/Certifications: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the relevant state and hold CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations.
- Manages daily clinical operations at the health center, providing direct oversight to clinical support personnel.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels to deliver quality healthcare services through effective scheduling and communication.
- Acts as a Nurse Coordinator during staffing shortages.
- Facilitates communication between providers and support staff to enhance quality outcomes.
- Completes training on payroll systems and manages staff attendance records.
- Ensures compliance with practice standards and accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Monitors staff compliance with educational and professional development requirements.
- Promotes positive customer service experiences.
- Assists in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
- Contributes to the development and achievement of departmental goals in alignment with organizational policies.
- Fosters a collaborative team environment.
- Participates in performance evaluations as directed.
- Conducts audits of health center departments to ensure adherence to policies.
- Addresses patient and provider concerns effectively.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President of Health Center Operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Engages in the evaluation and planning of current and future services.
- Assists in the orientation of new physicians, nursing instructors, students, and volunteers.
- Supports compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Contributes to the implementation and evaluation of care standards as required by regulatory bodies.
Supervision: Oversees Clinic Nurse Coordinators, RN Clinic Nurse Coordinators, Clinic Nurse Facilitators, LPNs, LPN Coordinators, Registered Medical Assistants, Certified Medical Assistants, Health Center Support Clerks, and Health Center Receptionists.
