Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Manager, the Distribution Center Coordinator is responsible for managing customer orders within our Oracle system, executing stock transfers to external warehouses, and overseeing receiving operations. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements for both domestic and international shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) and manage the Open Batch Report.
  • Oversee all inventory transactions and controls associated with Oracle and Prism systems.
  • Act as the departmental expert on the Oracle System, conducting ISO and cycle count evaluations.
  • Prepare documentation for international shipments and coordinate with management regarding scheduling and logistics.
  • Conduct monthly labor analysis, manage daily order processing metrics, and address quarantine activities.
  • Support the Department Manager in achieving daily operational goals.
  • Provide backup support for equipment room operations.
  • Administer record retention processes.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot transactions to optimize inventory management.
  • Address daily requirements from both internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Engage with various levels of the organization to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement effective office procedures and communicate best practices to team members.
QualificationsEducation
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • A minimum of three years of general office experience.
  • Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems such as AS/400, PRISM, and Oracle.
  • Completion of Business School courses or college coursework is advantageous.
Skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; flexibility for overtime may be required.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with a professional phone demeanor.
Working Environment

This position operates within an office and distribution center environment, with occasional meetings at other facilities. Travel for training purposes may occur, though it is infrequent.
