Correspondence Specialist

As a Correspondence Specialist at SSC - Sarasota, you will play a vital role in supporting our purpose to provide safe, quality healthcare by processing and sorting daily paper correspondence, ensuring accurate filing and distribution. You will also handle digital correspondence, index documents, and perform quality checks to maintain high standards. Additionally, you will cover front desk responsibilities, assist with document retrieval, and complete other assigned duties to support overall office operation.
About the Opportunity:
- Manage Paper Correspondence: Process and sort daily paper correspondence, ensuring accurate filing and distribution.
- Handle Digital Correspondence: Separate and categorize digital correspondence for efficient management and retrieval.
- Index Documents: Create and maintain an organized index for both paper and digital correspondence to facilitate quick access.
- Ensure Quality: Conduct quality checks on all correspondence and indexing tasks to maintain high standards.
- Front Desk Duties: Cover front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling phone inquiries.
- Assist with Document Retrieval: Help other departments locate and access documents as needed.
- Perform Additional Tasks: Complete other assigned duties to support overall office operation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of six months of related experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
