Job Summary:
Tidal Basin seeks a skilled Document Specialist - Travel to join our team. This role requires travel across 2-3 counties, performing case management and working closely with applicants in a program focused on disaster recovery, resiliency, and/or risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the project in a remote or onsite environment, during local office hours, Monday - Friday, excluding Holidays.
Perform data entry and upload documents within the applicable systems of record.
Manage cases in conformance with program requirements and guidelines.
Collect and review documents and applicant information.
Advise and explain program policies, rules, and forms to applicants.
Collect and verify information and/or documents from applicants.
Send, receive, analyze, and process electronic and hard copy correspondence, documents, and forms.
Answer calls received through the call center and provide customer service within the call center environment.
Respond to phone calls, and/or emails about program requirements and the status of applications.
Attend all meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work successfully with a diverse pool of applicants.
Team player with experience in multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new software and database/management information systems.
Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred.
2 years of work experience in disaster recovery, housing support services or programs, social services, or case management preferred.
Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish are a plus.
