Dal-Tile is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and support. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting customers both in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries, providing product information, processing orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Primary Objective

To cultivate strong relationships with our valued customers by providing prompt, efficient, and personalized support. This includes handling customer requests, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer accounts effectively, including order processing, inquiries, product details, order status updates, pricing information, inventory checks, and transportation coordination.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through inbound calls, utilizing ACD (Automated Call Distribution) systems to efficiently manage a high volume of calls.
  • Process orders accurately, handle faxes professionally, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support centers to address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues from initiation to delivery.
  • Proactively respond to customer needs and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Experience in account management is highly preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of the textile industry is beneficial.
