Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our registered nurses in delivering dialysis treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, patient education, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Assist with patient transportation, laboratory testing, and other related duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare experience a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet, with occasional lifting and bending.
