Lovelace Medical Center is a leading acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, offering a wide range of services including emergency care, surgical procedures, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke treatment, radiology, and oncology services. We believe in a collaborative approach to healthcare, where every team member plays a vital role in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fundamental patient care under the supervision of nursing and medical personnel.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and report on patients' progress to nursing staff.
- Record vital signs and collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Facilitate basic patient transport and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- One year of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
- Progress towards an approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification.
- Experience in Phlebotomy or completion of a Phlebotomy course.
