About Our Facility:
- Lovelace Women's Hospital features a state-of-the-art 53-bed neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, and an award-winning breast care center.
- We embrace a team-oriented approach to healthcare, valuing compassion, diversity, and mutual respect.
- Provide fundamental patient care under the supervision of nursing and medical personnel.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare reports for nursing staff.
- Measure and document vital signs and collect specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Facilitate patient transport and perform basic housekeeping tasks.
Essential Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in acute or long-term care settings.
- Experience in phlebotomy or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
- Currently pursuing certification as a CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P).
