Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the excellence of our software products at SpectraMedix. This role involves a thorough understanding of functional requirements and the development of comprehensive testing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze functional specifications and create detailed test cases, scripts, plans, and necessary test data.
  • Conduct various testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to facilitate testing processes and resolve software issues.
  • Execute both automated and manual test scripts, analyze outcomes, and address any discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks and products.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to prioritize and triage reported bugs.
  • Disseminate test execution reports to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance testing and a solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or X-Ray.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
