Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at SpectraMedix, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Grasping the functional specifications to develop comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and necessary test data.
- Conducting various testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to facilitate testing processes and resolve software issues.
- Executing and refining both automated and manual test scripts while thoroughly analyzing the outcomes.
- Being accountable for the timely and high-quality delivery of assigned projects and tasks.
- Coordinating with business and technical teams to prioritize and address reported bugs.
- Providing detailed test execution reports to all relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Some prior experience in Quality Assurance testing and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or X-Ray.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective multitasking and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience in the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with JIRA.
