Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at SpectraMedix, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Grasping the functional specifications to develop comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and necessary test data.
  • Conducting various testing methodologies including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to facilitate testing processes and resolve software issues.
  • Executing and refining both automated and manual test scripts while thoroughly analyzing the outcomes.
  • Being accountable for the timely and high-quality delivery of assigned projects and tasks.
  • Coordinating with business and technical teams to prioritize and address reported bugs.
  • Providing detailed test execution reports to all relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Some prior experience in Quality Assurance testing and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail or X-Ray.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
