Job Summary

Nexgens is seeking a highly skilled Private Label Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Private Label department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Private Label customers, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless execution of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Private Label customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive new business growth and revenue expansion for Private Label customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Purchasing, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure timely and accurate execution of customer orders.
  • Work closely with the EVP of Private Label to review and develop new product offerings, assortment, and line planning processes.
  • Direct design concepts and specifications, analyze customer and supplier information, and disseminate critical details to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Communicate daily with overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in entering, auditing, and analyzing new and existing product data, including costing, pricing, dimensions, materials, parts, and supplier information in various internal systems.
  • Navigate and complete task requirements in the account Portal using a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
  • Coordinate production timelines with urgency, diligence, and attention to detail to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  • Maintain communication with customers and vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Have a clear understanding of the supply chain process for direct container shipping from overseas to customers using designated portals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Inventory Control, Imports, Accounting, and Compliance, to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
  • Track private-label orders to ensure on-time delivery of goods per account requirements, including direct container orders.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • AA Degree or BA/BS Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in private label account management.
  • Basic knowledge of project management within the home decor industry is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
Working Conditions
  • 8 hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
