Position Summary:

Xanitos is seeking Part-Time Environmental Service Technicians for the second shift. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various locations within a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary based on client needs and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
  • Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metalwork.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Transport small equipment or tools between departments.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Experience in janitorial services is preferred, particularly in medical settings.

  • Medical, background screening, and drug testing are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands for various tasks, and reaching with arms. The employee may frequently need to climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl. The ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is essential.

Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. There may be exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.


Work Environment:

This position may expose employees to fumes or airborne particles, and occasionally to moving mechanical parts. The typical noise level in the work environment is quiet.

The expected hourly wage for this position is $18.00, subject to variations based on skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
