Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting geotechnical explorations and assessments for diverse projects. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with architects, engineers, and developers to produce tailored geotechnical studies and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct geotechnical explorations and site assessments to evaluate subsurface conditions.
2. Supervise and train laboratory technicians, ensuring quality control and compliance with standards.
3. Manage equipment inventory and calibration processes.
4. Prepare detailed geotechnical engineering reports and documentation.
5. Interact with clients to discuss technical aspects and findings of projects.
6. Assist in planning and executing subsurface investigation programs, including coordinating underground utility clearance.
7. Design and analyze earth structures, foundations, and slope stability.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is preferred.
- 1-10 years of experience in consulting engineering on civil projects.
- EIT or PE licensure is required; having an active license is highly desirable.
- Proficient in geotechnical software and able to learn new tools quickly.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel and work in various terrains.
