Construction Inspector

CTL Engineering is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and report on construction works in progress, including earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utility construction.
• Verify compliance with state specifications, plans, and proposals for roadway work, roadways, and pavements.
• Perform computations, plot data, and draw simple curves and graphs.
• Assist engineers in the field during soil and materials investigations.
• Ensure that job site tests and observations are performed in accordance with standard test and observation methods, project specifications, and contract documents.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a related field with at least 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of construction inspection and testing experience, with familiarity with highway construction specifications and previous field experience.
• ACI Grade I, DOT Asphalt Tech, NICET Level II Soils, ICC Special inspections, and/or CWI/NDT inspectors, preferred.
