Job Description:

Diageo is seeking a highly skilled Asset Care Manager to join our team at the Bulleit Distillery in Shelbyville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality whiskey to meet consumer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in the areas of Safety, Plant Maintenance, Asset Performance, and Manufacturing Excellence.
  • Develop and implement a 5-year asset care and replacement strategy, including a capital expenditure program.
  • Lead project teams to improve asset utilization and plant performance.
  • Direct and build the capability of Team Leads and craftsmen.
  • Track standard manufacturing measures and prioritize plant maintenance opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of technical/production/engineering/maintenance management experience in consumer products/goods or manufacturing.
  • Preferred experience in distillation or packaging.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence, persuade, convince, compromise, and build consensus.
  • Technical competence in project management, technical operations, and engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSME, BSEE, or BS ChE degree.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2015 and Revit.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
