The Port of San Diego is a dynamic and innovative organization that plays a vital role in the economic and cultural life of San Diego. As the CEO, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of over 620 staff members and oversee all Port programs, projects, and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspirational leadership and foster a culture that empowers and recognizes team members for doing their best work.
  • Advocate for the Port's interests and ensure the organization tells its story and demonstrates its value and impact to the region.
  • Represent the Port and the Board in meetings with government agencies, interest groups, and the public.
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budget and oversee the implementation of effective employee relations and engagement programs.
  • Monitor changes in the operating environment and respond to complex public inquiries.

  • Proven leadership experience in a large, complex organization, with the ability to plan and act ahead of potential impacts.

What We Offer
  • Salary: $350,000
  • 9/80 compressed work schedule with every other Friday off

Location
