We are currently in search of a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to enhance our program supporting a vital government client in a dynamic and rewarding environment. This initiative provides cloud-based engineering services utilizing cutting-edge technology solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

· Extensive experience with programming languages such as Python and Java, along with expertise in Automation and Systems Design.

· Profound knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle) that enables the design of solutions tailored to the intricate requirements of diverse applications and IT systems.

· Capability to offer strategic guidance, develop roadmaps, and establish standards.

· Proficient in creating and maintaining architectural designs and standards within established models.

· Ability to formulate high-level system specifications.

· Experience in providing Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support.

· Collaborative mindset to work with Engineers on design solutions.

· Evaluate both current and emerging technologies to assess their impact on solutions.

· Independent work ethic with a strong drive to accomplish tasks.

· Innovate future technology and architectural advancements to align with customer vision and objectives.

· Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash Scripting, JavaScript, etc.).

· Understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef, etc.).

· Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

· Ability to identify issues, analyze facts, gather additional data, make informed assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and refine solutions based on lessons learned.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with automated testing methodologies.

· Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

· Understanding of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) in iterative development projects.

· Knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Rails, Django, etc.).

· Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Job Requirements:

· Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security clearance is mandatory.

· Educational Requirement: A minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience along with a bachelor's degree, or 9 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

· Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on networking and building professional relationships.

· Proven ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the capacity to meet or exceed deadlines.

Physical Requirements: The position necessitates frequent sitting, standing, and mobility within an office environment. The employee must be capable of using hands to perform tasks at a workstation/computer, reach, type, and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; and possess the ability to talk, see, and hear.

Work Environment: Work is conducted in a professional office setting with moderate stress and noise levels. The position requires effective computer use, potentially for extended periods, and the ability to manage frequent interruptions. Candidates should exhibit a customer-focused attitude and a collaborative approach to their work.

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with variability based on contract requirements.
