We are currently seeking Cybersecurity Systems Engineers with a minimum of eleven (11) years of experience.

This role supports the customer’s Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) initiatives at the organizational level, engaging with various tiers within the customer’s structure.

Required Qualifications
Education, Experience, & Skills


Demonstrated ability to manage multiple A&A systems/projects concurrently, alongside strong communication and facilitation skills.

Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from developers and engineers to senior contractor and customer personnel.

Proficient understanding of complex network environments, including shared networks and multiple security enclaves.

Ability to translate technical implementations into easily understood security terminology, ensuring clarity in communication across all levels.

Document security control implementations and gather artifacts supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation for various A&A efforts.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the architecture for each project to create Systems Security Plans (SSP) and CONOPS.


Collaborate with systems owners, project managers, and engineering teams to produce additional A&A-related documentation, including Contingency Plans (CP), General User Guides (GUG), Privileged User Guides (PUG), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Support A&A reviews conducted by Group level ISSMs and Security Controls Assessors (SCA).


Document Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) and provide necessary artifacts, including evidence from system owners, PMs, and engineering teams.


Coordinate with various contractor and customer personnel to obtain A&A content and navigate the customer’s A&A process to achieve Authority to Develop (ATD), Interim Authority to Operate (IATT), and Authority to Operate (ATO) for assigned systems.

Maintain awareness of the status of each A&A project within the customer’s process and communicate updates effectively at all levels.

Provide ongoing support for ATO systems under continuous monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications
Education, Experience, & Skills

Prior ISSE experience directly supporting the customer.

Familiarity with various security tools and reports such as GreenLight, Xacta, RoadRunner, Illuminate, Rapid 7, NMAP, WebInspect, App Detective, and Splunk.

Experience with public, private, and hybrid Cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.).

Basic knowledge of Cloud security control implementation, PKI implementation, STIG compliance, vulnerability management, and Security, Development, and Operations (SecDevOps) is advantageous but not mandatory.

CISSP or GSLC certifications are preferred.

AWS Certified Security Specialty certification is a plus.

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Compensation Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$239,140

Note:
This range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
