We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead a team of experts in developing new laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications systems. As the Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for interfacing with customers and developing system design concepts that meet program objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing System Requirements: Define system key performance parameters and ensure requirements flow-down to subsystems.
  • Leading Engineering and Manufacturing Teams: Oversee the end-to-end development of active electro-optic systems, including design, build, and test.
  • Assigning Tasks and Setting Priorities: Assign tasks to program team members and set/communicate program priorities and goals.
  • Reporting Status and Issues: Keep senior management informed of status, technical, programmatic, and workforce-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of design, build, and test experience, with a minimum of 5 years of program management experience in electro-optic or laser systems.
  • Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills, excellent customer interfacing skills, and systems engineering experience.
  • Citizenship: US citizenship required.
