Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our new Multi-family Community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general apartment upkeep and repairs, demonstrating excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to professionalism when engaging with residents, colleagues, and management.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding promptly and courteously to resident maintenance requests.
  • Ensuring units are turned over to the highest standards of quality.
  • Performing general property maintenance and upkeep.
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues in various areas including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior structures, and appliances.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of maintenance, including knowledge of tools, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and appliance servicing.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively with residents, peers, and management.
  • The capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
Work Schedule

This position requires availability on weekends and participation in an on-call emergency response rotation.

Compensation and Benefits
