The role of an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist encompasses the management of facility support equipment through operation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing machinery maintenance, diagnosing, and rectifying electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Interpreting manuals related to electrical and mechanical systems utilized in machinery maintenance.
  • Installing, connecting, and diagnosing various systems effectively.
  • Possessing knowledge in machinery associated with punch/heated forming presses, glue dispensing, tape casting, compressors, and more.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness and safety in work environments.
  • Guaranteeing that equipment is maintained efficiently and safely to reduce downtime.
  • Identifying safety risks and proposing methods for their mitigation.
  • Conducting both preventative and unscheduled maintenance on production machinery.
  • Collaborating independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical challenges.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Completion of a 2-year technical degree or possessing 3 years of experience in the maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with software utilized in manufacturing equipment is advantageous.
  • Engaging in physical tasks such as climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and working at heights.
  • Proficiency in computer operations.
  • Understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
  • Capability to operate forklifts, scissors, and boom lifts up to 40 feet high.
  • Ability to read schematics and comprehend programmable logic and electrical circuits.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 40 lbs.
